Day 99: Hip Surgery Recovery Tips
When
having hip surgery, be prepared for a long recovery period. To think
that you will be back to your old self with a week or so, is completely
unrealistic. A full recovery from hip surgery can take months, if not a
whole year, depending on your age. To speed up the recovery a
physiotherapist will work with you, but it will be up to you to keep up
those exercises on your own. Don’t overdo it though, listen to your
therapist as to what you can and cannot do. When you feel you are ready
you might try the following exercise tips.
